About Us

Rooted in care. Guided by experience. Committed to meaningful change.

Chrysalis Recovery was founded on the belief that people deserve to be met with respect, understanding, and steady support—especially during difficult or transitional moments in life. Since April 2009, we have been honored to serve individuals and families throughout our community with compassionate, professional care.

We are a counseling center and an Impaired Driver Care Management Program (IDCMP), offering a full continuum of services designed to support accountability, healing, and long-term well-being.

Our Philosophy

At Chrysalis, we believe real change happens when people feel safe, supported, and understood. We recognize that each person who walks through our doors brings a unique story, set of circumstances, and set of goals. Our role is not to judge or rush the process, but to provide clear guidance, thoughtful care, and professional accountability—at a pace that honors each individual.

Like the chrysalis itself, transformation takes time, patience, and the right environment. We are committed to creating that environment for every client we serve.

Who We Serve

Chrysalis Recovery serves clients of all ages, from children and adolescents to adults and families. We work with individuals seeking counseling by choice, as well as those referred by courts, schools, employers, attorneys, probation or parole, DCYF, and other agencies.

We accept most insurance plans and offer both in-person and telehealth services to ensure care is accessible and responsive to real-life needs.

Experience You Can Count On

With more than 15 years of service, Chrysalis Recovery has built a reputation for professionalism, integrity, and consistency. Our robust clinical team includes licensed and master’s-level counselors, recovery professionals, and specialists with advanced training across mental health, substance use, anger management, impaired driving programs, and related areas of care.

We have proudly served as an approved Impaired Driver Service Provider (IDSP) for DWI aftercare counseling since April 2009 and as a New Hampshire DWI Program (IDCMP) since February 2013.

Our Commitment

At every stage of care, Chrysalis Recovery is committed to:

  • • Treating each client with dignity and respect
  • • Providing clear, ethical, and evidence-based services
  • • Supporting accountability without shame
  • • Offering steady guidance through complex systems and requirements
  • • Helping individuals and families move forward with confidence
